Heaven’s Kitchen Food Review: First Edition

BK’s rendition of a food critic needs no introduction. This panel consists of seasoned experts and avid critics who articulate their frustrations, excitements, and suggestions on BK Cafeteria Hot Lunch for the Bishop Kelly community to enjoy.

Monday, 2/06

Monday saw the re-introduction of a classic lunch staple to the Bishop Kelly Lunch Menu. The panel’s general consensus was in agreement with the creative presentation of the dish, and the Garden Salsa SunChips were a welcome addition to the meal. In order to ensure standardized and fair judging of the dish, 1.25 pumps of ketchup and .50 pumps of mustard were added to the corn dog. After extensive tasting and consideration, it was determined that the corndog with sun chips was a heartwarming meal with an exciting and stimulating combination of flavors. It should be considered amongst the middle-of-the-pack in terms of lunch competency.

This is a glorious day for the Bishop Kelly community. The Heaven’s Kitchen Food Panel has met the long-awaited introduction of the fajita chicken bowl with jubilation. A beautiful combination of chicken, cheese, and rice that, when complimented with copious amounts of salsa, makes for an unforgettable delight to the senses. This lunch can be considered amongst the all-time legends of Bishop Kelly dining.

Chicken burger with cheese. It was a burger made of chicken with some cheese on it. It had bread too. Ketchup if you’re feeling adventurous.

The BK Penne Pasta has come to rid any remaining doubt in cafeteria cuisine. It is a delight to the senses, a complete and utter experience to be enjoyed. As the panel enjoyed this masterful craft of flavors, one could hear the wind blowing over the hills of Modena, Italy. The smells told of the flavor that was to come. The pasta, likely flown in that day from Rome. The cheese, shipped directly from Paris. And the sauce, it would be not far from the truth to say that it was prepared by almighty Chef Vern himself. It is a high hope that we will see another dish surpass this one.

It was pizza, it was good. It had sauce. There was cheese. I kind of like cheese, it’s tasty to me. It was kind of hot when I got it and it burned my tongue so maybe they should make it less hot and people might like it more but that’s just my opinion so it’s ok.
